Course Objective

The course covers the fundamentals of Gigamon product portfolios and solutions.  After completing this course, you will understand:

•    The different Gigamon product layers and how they function as part of a security solution.
•   How to create flow maps to help ensure that the right traffic gets to the right tool at the right time.
•   The different GigaSMART traffic intelligence features and how they support and enhance monitoring and security solutions.
•   How to implement a packet access solution in a cloud or hybrid network infrastructure
•   How to extract virtualized traffic for use with virtualized and physical tools.
